Requirements

Credentialed members of the ophthalmic and health care trade as well as health or science-focused mainstream/consumer media are invited to attend Eyecelerator. Complimentary media registration will be provided to professional journalists representing media organizations for the express purpose of gathering news and information to produce media coverage of the meeting. 

Editorial staff of the following types of media outlets are invited to register:

• Ophthalmic or other health care trade publications

• Health or science reporters of general circulation newspapers, magazines, newsletters

• News services and syndicates

• Broadcast media

• Online news media

Job titles that are not acceptable include, but are not limited to: Principal, Partner, Account Executive, Public Relations Manager, Analyst, Sales Manager and Advertising Manager.

Agreement

Registration and attendance at, or participation in, Eyecelerator events, constitutes an agreement by the registrant to the use and distribution (both now and in the future) of the registrant or attendee’s image or voice in recordings, photographs, videotapes, electronic reproductions of such events and activities by Eyecelerator. Attendees agree to release their contact information, including demographics, as captured during the registration process.

An inherent risk of exposure to the COVID-19 virus exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. Eyecelerator has taken enhanced health and safety measures in compliance with CDC guidelines and state and local regulations. This is to protect you, our other members and attendees, and our staff. Let’s all work together to keep each other healthy. You must follow all posted instructions and signage while attending Eyecelerator meetings and events. You voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19 when attending Eyecelerator meetings and events.
